About Us & Our Mission

The mission of St. Blaise Parish is to welcome
and love others with open hearts as we share
the Word of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We are strengthened by the Eucharist and
empowered by the Holy Spirit to spread His Gospel
with love, unity, and peace.

We celebrate through the blessing of our diverse
cultural backgrounds and our many family traditions
that we are able to come together
as one Catholic Family.

As children of the Light of Christ and carriers of
His Cross, we believe that it is our responsibility
to reach out to our brothers and sisters through
prayer, community service, and example.
WE APPRECIATE YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME!

Elementary Faith Formation (Age 3-Grade 6)

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 is offered for Preschool and Kindergarten. This hands-on, Montessori-style program is a beautiful introduction to the loving care of Jesus the Good Shepherd and his Church.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 2 is offered for children in 1st Grade. This builds on the concepts in CGS Level 1 while introducing God’s plan for us and morality presentations in preparation for receiving First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion next year.

Religious Education classes are offered for students in 2nd-6th Grade. Our program includes a full-text Catholic Bible with weekly lessons directly from Scripture.

Confirmation Preparation (Grades 7-8)

Confirmation Preparation is a two-year program for 7th and 8th Grade youth. The Sacrament of Confirmation is offered in the fall after completion of the program, at the beginning of the student’s 9th Grade year. Our program continues with alternating Middle School Religious Education lessons and Confirmation reflections to help youth prepare for the Sacrament.
