About Us & Our Mission
The mission of St. Blaise Parish is to welcome
and love others with open hearts as we share
the Word of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
We are strengthened by the Eucharist and
empowered by the Holy Spirit to spread His Gospel
with love, unity, and peace.
We celebrate through the blessing of our diverse
cultural backgrounds and our many family traditions
that we are able to come together
as one Catholic Family.
As children of the Light of Christ and carriers of
His Cross, we believe that it is our responsibility
to reach out to our brothers and sisters through
prayer, community service, and example.
WE APPRECIATE YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!

Faith Formation
Registration for the 2022-2023 school year is now open!
Faith Formation at Saint Blaise Calendar 2022-23–Coming soon!
Sessions begin Wednesday, September 21, 2022
Our Programs
The Faith Formation programs for children in preschool through 8th grade meet weekly on Wednesdays in the Saint Blaise school building. Sessions are from 6:00-7:15 PM, and our first session is Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
Formal faith formation for Grades 1-8 is required in our diocese, and two years of formation are required before receiving each Sacrament of Initiation–typically Grades 1 & 2 for First Holy Communion and Grades 7 & 8 for Confirmation. Please reach out to discuss any special situations, we are happy to work with you!
Elementary Faith Formation (PreK-Grade 6)
We offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1, a hands-on formation program, for children in preschool and kindergarten. Faith formation at this age is optional in our diocese, but is recommended at any age to help us grow in love for Jesus and his Church.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 2 is offered for children in 1st grade. This builds on the concepts from CGS Level 1 while introducing God’s plan for us and morality teachings in preparation for receiving First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in the next school year.
Children in Grades 2-6 attend traditional Religious Education/CCD classes. Our program includes a full-text Catholic Bible with weekly lessons directly from Scripture.
Confirmation Preparation (Grades 7-8)
Confirmation Preparation is a two-year program for 7th and 8th grade youth. The Sacrament of Confirmation is offered in the fall after completion of the program, at the beginning of the student’s 9th grade year. Our faith formation program at this level continues with middle school Religious Education lessons and Confirmation reflections to help youth prepare for the Sacrament.
